Santa’s Grotto Terms & Conditions

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your purchased time slot
  • Ensure that your tickets purchased are for the correct number of people
  • All children wishing to see Santa must have a ticket – babies are welcome to come along for free, but they will not receive a gift
  • Tickets include one small gift and the option to make a small bag of reindeer food to take home
  • Adults may attend with children at no cost – adult numbers are strictly limited to three adults per time slot
  • Tickets must be used for the purchased time slot, on the correct day – we cannot allow access to the grotto at other times
  • Any late arrivals will be required to wait until the next available slot. If you arrive after your slot, and all slots are booked, whilst we will endeavour to fit you in, if no slots become available, no refund will be offered and you may miss the opportunity to visit the grotto
  • Tickets purchased online are non-transferable
  • Any cancellations will be refunded less the booking fee, provided they are made at least 48 hours before the booking date
  • Any local and national COVID regulations apply, and must be adhered to at all times for everyone’s safety. If these regulations require us to postpone or cancel the event, we will contact all customers via email to confirm any changes

 

Christmas Tree Terms & Conditions:

  • Pre-orders are only confirmed with transfer of full payment – please use your invoice number as your reference
  • We will contact you to arrange collection on a pre-arranged date and approximate time
  • Delivery is subject to availability and if delivery is required this must be confirmed and paid for at time of purchase – delivery terms & conditions apply
  • Customers will not be able to choose the date/time of their delivery but we will contact you to arrange delivery time and date. If the delivery slot is inconvenient, we will offer the option to collect or to leave in a safe place instead
  • If you are not available for delivery on the pre-arranged date, we will try to contact you and either leave it in a safe place, or take it back with us for you to arrange collection at a later date
  • The Trees are best kept outside and un-netted until you plan to decorate your tree
  • All trees will be supplied with a simple care guide to help keep your tree looking fresh through to the new year
  • We cannot be held responsible for trees delivered where no one available to take receipt of them
  • Any afternoon teas ordered for delivery or collection are bound by the same terms, and purchasers accept responsibility for keeping them at the appropriate temperature prior to consumption

 

Takeaway Afternoon Tea Terms & Conditions:

For group afternoon teas, catering and event bookings please refer to the terms and conditions supplied with your booking confirmation

Cattle Experience Terms & Conditions:

For stays in our Shepherd’s hut, please refer to the separate T&Cs, and for stays booked through AirBnB, please refer to your AirBnB booking for full terms.

Refunds & Cancellations

Please call us on 07973 892564 at least 72 hours before a booking if you or anyone in your party would like to cancel or if you need to reschedule. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the booking or one or all of your group do not turn up at the agreed time, we cannot issue a refund or offer an alternative date.

Valid refunds will be made via the same method as original payment. If this is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative payment method.

Please arrive shortly before your booking and allow plenty of time to get here. We cannot guarantee availability for late arrivals. If you are running late, please call us on 07973 892564 and we will do our best to accommodate this, but your time meeting the cattle may need to be cut short.

If for any reason we need to cancel a cattle experience, we will offer you an alternative date to rebook within a 6 month period. Where no suitable alternative date is available, you will be offered a full refund.

Adverse Weather

Most visits will go ahead regardless of weather so please dress appropriately for the outdoors, with warm clothing, including a coat and sturdy shoes.

Where adverse weather means we are required to postpone your visit, we will contact you on the telephone number provided. We will offer you an alternative date to rebook within a 6 month period. Where no suitable alternative date is available, you will be offered a full refund.

Gift Voucher Redemption

Gift vouchers are strictly non-refundable and cannot be extended. Please make sure you contact us to book your visit in plenty of time to ensure availability as experiences only run on Thursdays, February to September and are only valid for the year of purchase.

Dietary requirements/allergies

Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. For any food allergies, please notify us at time of booking. A full list of allergens is available on request.

All visits are strictly at your own risk. We will show you the cattle from a safe distance and advise that customers do not try to stroke the cattle for safety reasons.
